1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using this website, or any website operated by the Fintor group (together, the "Sites"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Sites. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
2. General information only — no personal advice
Content on the Sites — including articles, lessons, guides, calculators and tools — is general information and education only. It has been prepared without taking into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. It is not financial, investment, credit, legal or tax advice, and it is not a recommendation about any financial product, strategy, risk profile or asset allocation.
Before acting on anything on the Sites, consider its appropriateness to your circumstances, read any relevant Product Disclosure Statement, and seek advice from a licensed financial adviser. Personal advice is provided only through a formal engagement with an appropriately licensed Fintor entity or representative.
3. Calculators and tools
Our calculators and tools are educational aids. Their outputs are estimates and illustrations built on assumptions and the figures you enter — they are not forecasts, quotes or guarantees, may not reflect current rates, markets, tax or law, and can differ materially from actual outcomes. Investing involves risk: the value of investments rises and falls, and past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance. Do not rely on tool outputs as a substitute for personal advice.
4. Licensing and who provides what
Advice and specialist services are delivered through a coordinated structure relying on multiple licences: Fintor Group Pty Ltd (ABN 52 672 923 796, AFSL 559 460) for financial advice, portfolio management and education; Nexa Life Solutions Pty Ltd (AFSL 563 622) for insurance, on a general advice basis only; and Australian Financial Group (AFG, ACL 389 087) for mortgage broking and credit assistance. 5. Your use of the Sites
You agree to use the Sites lawfully and reasonably. You must not misuse the Sites, interfere with their operation or security, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or data, scrape or harvest content or data at scale, or use the Sites to transmit anything unlawful, misleading or harmful.
6. Intellectual property
The Sites and their content — including text, guides, lesson materials, calculators, graphics, logos and design — are owned by or licensed to the Fintor group and protected by copyright and trade mark laws. You may view, download and print content for your personal, non-commercial use. You must not otherwise reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent.
7. Third-party links and content
The Sites may link to third-party websites, tools or resources (for example government resources such as ASIC's Moneysmart, or quoting platforms). These are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement.
8. Accuracy and availability
We take care to keep content current and accurate, but we do not warrant that the Sites are complete, accurate, up to date, or free of errors, interruptions or viruses. Rates, thresholds, tax settings and laws change. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the Sites at any time without notice.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law, which may imply guarantees that cannot be excluded), the Fintor group excludes all liability for any loss or damage — direct, indirect or consequential — arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Sites or their content and tools. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited, at our election, to resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of resupply.
10. Privacy
Our collection and handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Sites you consent to that handling.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
